It has been quite a week!  Hey, how's the

weather where you are?  I hope it's starting to look

and feel like Spring!

Ok, I will start with my FABULOUS vacation!

Can you guess where we were?

That's right!-- DISNEYLAND!!!

And the best part was my husband and I didn't have to charge

 a single penny of it to a credit card, thanks to my amazing

SHD business.  

Happy Dance!!!

It was SO MUCH FUN!!!

My two crazy teenagers are in the very back row of that coaster!!!

The Disney's California Adventure park is awesome!

I had not been there in eleven years.  I last took my older two when they 

were 3 1/2 and 5!  So my youngest had never been, and my husband had not

been to Disneyland since he was a kid.

It was the best family time we've had in a very long time.

My kids didn't complain.

Not even once.

Ok, there's my April Fool's joke for the day!  haha

They might have complained.  A little.  

(But nothing a churro couldn't cure!)  

Alright, onto the BIG announcement from South Hill this week!

Spring is Springing!

Hooray!  Happy Spring!  

Ok, ok I know some of you are still buried in snow.

But Spring is here.

It is.  

It's..............under the snow???

I really cannot imagine what that's like.  I lived in Upstate NY as a kid, but only until I was six.  Since then, snow has been something of a novelty.  I don't get to see it much and when I do, it's for fun.  I have lived in the Bay Area ever since, except for the time I spent in San Diego for college and a few years after.  

Ah.  I love sunshine.

So I'm sorry if it's still the "Winter That Refuses To End" where you live.  And I hope you soon see signs of Spring!!!

In the spirit of Springy things,  I am sporting this locket and the champagne wrap these days.  I thought about this locket and ordered the plumeria charms for it last week.   I just wanted a locket full of flowers.

It makes me smile.

And does not make me sneeze.

I Was Ready to Take On the World Until I Saw Something Sparkly...

It has been such a beautiful week in Northern California.  Sunny and 70's.  If you are still dealing with freezing temps,  I am sooooo sorry.  I cannot imagine.   I can make up the guest room if you like.  ;)

I left work (school) early the other day and took my youngest to the park.  I just felt like that sunshine needed to be absorbed and enjoyed.  I felt kind of bad because we didn't invite anyone with us, but he said, "It's ok.  I'll just make a new friend there."  That's Aiden for you.  And he did make a friend.  He's 8.  And super cool.

We ended our afternoon with ice cream.



Perfect day.




We need rain though.  Like really badly.



I have been playing with some locket ideas and last weekend one of the girls at my retreat was wearing just a chain with one of our open heart charms looped through.  It was so pretty and delicate.  I decided to add the wedding ring and another heart and string them on the diamond cut ball chain.

                           What do you think of it?  Sometimes you just want simple, you know?

I love it.  I have been pairing it with a locket, but you can wear this on its own, too.  So super cute.

Charmed, I'm Sure...

I spent the past two days at the beach with some amazing women.  We talked, laughed, ate, drank...bonded.  Like we'd been friends forever.

But we haven't.  

I just met some of these women in person last night.  A few of them I met last September at our first South Hill Designs Conference.  Only one of them have I known for years.

And yet, we call each other "sisters."

Bonded by....what exactly?  Jewelry?  No, that's not it.  

We support each other.  Lift each other up.  

We share a passion for empowering women.

We all just want the best life possible for our families.

And we love life!

Lockets and charms?  Sure.

But it's so much more than that.

It's "Family."
